Marinara, I will never forget one of the very first times we went there, and you asked the waitress about getting fat back as your side, because you were unsure of what it was at the time … the waitress told you.
“Oh honey, you don’t want fat back …”
McLean’s is the place for a country boy to eat. They even have salt herring. I can’t remember now for sure, but they may have also had brains and eggs.
In any case, it’s a fun place to go. You just reminded me. I’ll have to go back soon before
my Cardiologist can stop me altogether!
